With no Glastonbury on the 2018 summer music season calendar, fans will never get a better chance to catch some huge acts next summer.

With Liam Gallagher, Queens of The Stone Age and The Community Festival featuring The Vaccines, taking over in Finsbury Park and Lovebox and Field Day moving back to South London’s Brockwell Park, 2018 is making some major changes to its music scene.

British Summer Time Festival which, for a number of years, has been hosting a number of huge acts over several weekends in Hyde Park, is already putting together another fantastic roaster of live entertainment in the capital next summer.

For their 40th anniversary, yes 40 years playing together, The Cure, will headlining on Saturday 7th July, 2018.

Robert Smith and co, who have made 13 albums and released 40 singles will take to the stage to perform a backlog of greatest hits from albums such as Pornography, Disintegration and Bloodflowers and songs such as Boys Don’t Cry, Friday I’m In Love, and Just Like Heaven.

The day features a fantastic bill of live bands from New York rockers Interpol as well as British indie darlings Editors, Twilight Sad and bands that have also made a comeback over the last few years – Ride and Slowdive.

Already announced for BST 2018 are Roger Walters, Bruno Mars, Michael Buble and guitar legend Eric Clapton.
