Metronomy, MGMT, De La Soul and solo singer Sigrid all feature in this summer’s line-up at Somerset House, it has been announced this week
A regular summer slot on the music scene, Somerset House Series always organise a superb varied line-up, which in the past has seen Adele, Bastille, Florence and The Machine, Hot Chip, Ellie Goulding, PJ Harvey, Sigor Ros, The Prodigy and The XX grace the stage…and this year is no different.
Indie bands Metronomy and MGMT feature with all their career hits, whilst lots of up-and-coming solo singers such as LP, Jorja Smith and BBC Sound of 2018, Norwegian singer – Sigrid – play her only London festival date this year.
Don Letts curates a night celebrating the best in British Bass, Carnival and Grime music on Saturday 7 July. Joining him with live performances will be Congo Natty and Grime king Wiley.
The following Saturday (14,) De La Soul will celebrate 30 years in the business with a set of hip hip, showcasing what has made them one of the most influential groups of samples with this exclusive performance.
Ticket prices begin from £31.25 up to £48.75 depending on the day, and go on sale from this Friday March 23rd. More information at www.somersethouse.org.uk
