As we move through life, we meet people, fall out with people, lose touch with people, and our paths twist and turn as a result. What if you want to find out where that person you used to have coffee with at work went? What if you spend your time wondering where John from school disappeared?

Is there a way to get back in touch with people?

Thankfully yes, there are some ways.

Firstly, you could ask around. If you have friends or mutual contacts in common, it’s easy to find out a little about the person. A quick question could give you a lead. Secondly, how about social media? Facebook is a veritable playground for finding people! Have a search, and if you find him or her, send them a message. It’s that easy!

Having said that, sometimes it’s really not that simple.

Sometimes it is a little harder to get in touch with people than finding them on Facebook or searching on Instagram. Sometimes you can’t find that person no matter whom you ask or how hard you try. What do you do then?

There is a certain amount of information kept the public domain on every single person. We are talking about name, date of birth, marital status, perhaps where they lived last, and sometimes, in the case of a more in-depth background check, you can find out even more information. TNT Magazine would certainly recommend running an online check using forums like checkthem. If you can’t find your long lost friend through other means, and this could end up being a lead, which could bring the two of you back together.

Of course, you need to prepare yourself for the potential fact that the person you’re trying to find may not want to be found in the end. In this case, there is nothing you can do but chalk it up to experience. There could be many reasons why someone doesn’t want to connect and get back in touch, and they are not all personal towards you. For instance, maybe that person wants to sever all ties with everyone from school, perhaps they have been through an experience which has changed them greatly, and perhaps they want to remain out of the way of other people they have met in the past.

There are many reasons why someone may not want to connect, and in that case, you simply need to accept their decision.

There’s no denying that finding people has become easier than ever before, but there is still the chance that it might not work. Is it worth the gamble? If you really want to get back in touch with that person then yes, it is worth it. What have you got to lose? You could reconnect with someone who you have missed for many years, and who knows, they might have missed you too!

So, let’s summarise your options.

Firstly, ask around. If that doesn’t work, check out social media links. If you find them, send them a quick hello message. If you can’t find them on social media, look towards online checks to try and track them down. You have options, and these should be more than enough to give you the answers you’re looking for!
