New band of the week: Mausi

The buzz so far: It may still be winter, but for this north-east pop four-piece - led by Milan-born siblings Daisy and Thomas who moved to the UK in 2008 and met bandmates-to-be Ben and Benji at university – it’s summertime, all the time.
Sunny upbeat disco vibes, carefree cool and effervescent pop charm, with a playful indie sensibility thrown in for good measure.
“We dance in the summer haze,” Daisy sings, and that’s the feeling debut single Sol embodies. The perfect antidote to the February blues.
