The Hollywood superstar's new literary offering, The Body Book, has attracted some mixed reviews after Ms Diaz's views on pubic hair and excrement were revealed.

In the (thankfully short) section on muff, titled 'In Praise of Pubes', Cameron reveals that however we groom ourselves, beware of permanently removing the hair. Waxing, shaving, trimming your bush into a heart-shape is fine by her - but stay away from laser treatment.

'Do you really want a hairless vagina for the rest of your life?' Cameron states, in a startling fashion. 'It’s a personal decision but I’m just putting it out there: consider leaving your vagina fully dressed, ladies.'

The examination of your downstairs area shouldn't stop there - Cameron also advises the girls to examine, er, bowel movements, as the colour of your waste will reveal how long it took to digest.

'Let’s talk about poop, baby!' she writes. 'Now I know that some people don’t like talking about their bowel movements but here’s why I’m talking about it: because your poop is a key indicator of your overall health. So, let’s get past the ick quotient and the modesty factor and become more familiar with what comes out the bottom of your beautiful bottom.' Yikes.
