Summer is here and what has it brought with it? Some highly entertaining pop-ups in London, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham...

Expect to see everything from rooftop cinemas to some seriously messy eating competitions and don’t be surprised about a bit of Cuba in East London!

1)      Summer Tales- London
Offering refreshing cocktails and dribble-worthy food, Summer Tales is a clear winner in the pop up department. They host fan favourites like Burger and Lobster, Forza Win and Pizza Pilgrims who all ensure the turn up of a hungry crowd. To kill your thirst it’s recommended to hit their Lazy Flamingo Cocktail Bar and Frozen Punch Bar for a zesty tipple. Their food and drink offerings work hand in hand to produce a balanced evening of fun and hedonism.

2)      Little Nan’s Cocktail Den – London
Opened from Tuesday to Saturday, Little Nan’s Cocktail Den is a world of Kitsch glamour offering two hour slots of cocktail drinking and pic and mix scoffing. Prices range from £35, this ticket includes unlimited signature cocktails, to £45 which includes both signature and prosecco cocktails. Their intimate space holds up to 31 people and will be open until the 15th of August.

3)      Smokin Gracielas Rooftop Bar – London

Why travel to Cuba when you can get the Cuban experience in the heart of East London? Smokin Gracielas Rooftop Bar brings about an immersive night of fiery flavours and frozen drinks to create unforgettable summer nights. When the sun goes down you can get your freak on in the downstairs dancefloor and to get a feel of traditional Cuban culture, you can play a game of Dominos!

4)      Nomad Cinema – London
Nomad Cinema really knows how to take advantage of summer sunshine. They will be running their pop up screens from July to September across 2 venues and aim to shower the masses with some solid outdoor entertainment. If you’re looking for something a little quirky, attend one, or all, of their excellently chosen films. I’m talking everything from Stand By Me to Superman.

5)      Moretti Gran Tour – London
Moretti Gran Tour enthusiastically returns to feed our mouths with some exceptional cuisine this summer. Taste signature dishes of Naples, Lombardy, Puglia and Sicily in one whole sitting and travel through a variety of tastes and smells. Forget your local/chain Italians this summer and purchase one of their tickets for an infusion of delicious flavours. You can also book a free masterclass where you and your friends will learn how to make a classic Italian dish with a top chef.

6)      Pump Street Food Market – London

If you spot a lively petrol station around East London this summer, it’s more than likely Pump Street Food Market. They have converted a petrol station on Shoreditch High Street to a playground of eclectic eats, vinyl DJ sets and colourful street art exhibitions. Roam underneath the blue sky with mouthfuls of Mediterranean and Mexican eats and bop along to some toe tapping beats.

7)      Press Play ‘On The Roof’ – London
Literally popping up across London this summer is ‘On the Roof’ by Press Play. They provide film experiences that push the boundaries of conventional cinema by screening the best modern day classics on rooftops! Venues across Fulham, Kensington and Clapham will be proud hosts of their grand pop ups. Expect a hearty crowd with smiling faces as they escape the crowded streets of London below.

8)      Grillstock – Bristol
Bristol’s got game this summer with their Grillstock event. Held from the 11th-12th July it has everything you could ever want; eating competitions, festival bars, a long music line-up and more importantly, plenty of fun!

9)      Friday Food Fight – Manchester
Entry to Friday Food Fight is free, saving you a pretty penny and giving you extra cash to delve into their yummy eats and booze. It has run in a number of locations and has a long list of traders including Viet Shack, Hungry Hombres and Yakumama, amongst many others. They also have eating contests every week. Are you ready to get messy?

10)   Burger Battle – Birmingham

2 burgers will battle it out to be crowned the winner. Who decides? You do! There will be a four hour window to collect both burgers and munch through their meaty ingredients. While you chomp through your burgers, live entertainment will be available and a bar with special offers.  Tickets are £20 and promise a juicy evening of flavours.
