Lloyd Webber has a new TV talent show in the works and his top choice for a post on his judging panel is former Pussycat Dolls singer turned solo star Nicole Scherzinger.

"Andrew is obsessed with Nicole — he thinks the world of her,” a source has revealed to The Sun.

"As soon as he got the nod his new show was going to happen, Nicole was his No1 target.

"He's got a great working relationship with her and Nicole hugely respects his work."

Lloyd Webber has eneded his run of shows with the BBC after four series of talent shows culminating in 2010's Over The Rainbow which sought out a ne talent to play Dorothy in Lloyd Webber's new stage production of The Wizard of Oz.

The new show is to be titled Superstar and is to seek out a star for Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar.

Steve Balsamo, who played the titular role on the stage in the Nineties, has been confirmed as one of the other judges for the ITV show.
