D’oh. What started off as just a script annotation in the form of “annoyed grunt” has swelled into one of the most popular catchphrases in TV history.

Used by everyone’s favourite Simpsons family member Homer (don’t @ me) you can now find the word printed on a wide array of merchandise, repeated in school yards and referenced by leaders of industry.
