Looking To Meet New People

Hi all,

I'm a 26 year old Aussie guy who has been living in London for the past 6 months.  I don't really know anyone here and am looking to get kick off my social life which I seem to have left back in Aus.

Interested in meeting some new people to share some drinks and stories with.

edit:  I now know a few people here, many whom I met via this forum post.  We now have a Facebook group where we organise events, discuss meetups etc.  If you want in, e-mail me your e-mail address and I'll send you an invite to the group.  The more the merrier!

So this is a bit weird, can't say I've done this before, but I'm on the rebound!!!  One of my good mates is making her way back to NZ, another one to leave, friends go and none seem to come!!!  Am finding it hard to make friends now that I'm not in a house share persay situation and am in a permenant job, so I'm trying something new!!

Kiwi gal, being here nearly 4yrs, lots of friends have left, some are due to leave, teacher, likes to be social and misses having guy mates!!!

Given I have made some fabulous friends there - I figure you all might too! There's people from all over the place on there and we regularly get together for drinks and crazy nights.

Hey, I too left my social life back in OZ. I have been here two months, got a job and go to and from work. Boring. I live just outside london, but work in london (hence- no social life), but i am keen to get out a bit more and meet more people.  Im a 23 yo aussie girl from sydney. Most of the people I knew in London have gapped it back home too so I'm in the same boat as most of you. 

I'm a 26 yr old kiwi girl. Hobbies include sport, playing poker and of course travelling. Happily do most things tho. SO how do we go about meet up???

Im keen to meet new ppl too.  Ive been here for 7 months now, 25yo kiwi girl, love it here partly because i do have friends here and because ive met some amazing people along the way.  I do agree its hard meeting people in london and im always keen to meet others, looking for some travel buddies too so if any of you are interested in that its a bonus! anyway pls keep me updated on the catch up.
