Travel Tips for Europe traveling

My friend and I are wanting to travel to Europe in May for a week or so. I was wondering if anyone has advice and/or sugguestions on traveling in europe. We are currently looking a tour packages. This is our first time overseas so we figure guided tours would be our best bet. Please helps us out with information and websites that will guide us in planning our European adventure!

A week is quite a short time so I would try and go for a few more weeks if you can! Topdeck is pretty good for first timers but there are many other trips available. I've just been on a 24day topdeck trip and it definitely gives you a good taste of Europe.

Um, there is Gap Adventures, http://www.gapadventures.com/ I havent used these guys before, but will be when i go to vietnam later in the year, my friend works for them so highly recommends them
