On Thursday, May 1, the EDF Energy London Eye will host talks in every one of its 32 capsules about some of the extraordinary characters who have helped shape London’s diverse and interesting history.

These figures include Geoffrey Chaucer, David Bowie, Bobby Moore, Charlie Chaplin and Naomi Campbell.

Each talk will be given by a well-known speaker who has contributed to London’s cultural legacy. Speakers include former London Mayor Ken Livingstone, historian Dan Cruikshank, Radio 1 DJ Nihal and acclaimed author Andrew Motion.

At 135m high with breathtaking views stretching up to 40km across the city, it's the perfect way to blend culture with sightseeing.
