The countdown to 2016 has begun, and it’s time to dust off the dancing shoes and start planning the New Year’s Eve celebrations.With intimate dinners, outrageous parties, perfect spots to watch the fireworks, and even a couple of brunch options to recover, we have got all the bases covered...

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Dirty Bones Carnaby
Dirty Bones Carnaby are inviting guests to join them in celebrating the last few hours of the year before 2016 rolls in. With tickets for early birdies as well as party-all-nighters, on arrival guests of the two ‘DIRTY NYE’ events will receive a signature Top Dog cocktail (Finlandia vodka, fresh strawberry, Chambord, lemon and prosecco) or craft beer, before sharing a selection of starters, such as Hot Wings; Charred Padron Peppers; and Deep Fried Mac Balls. These will be followed by a choice of either The Dirty Eye (Boston rib eye steak, Béarnaise sauce), Dirty Bass (Sea bass, chimichurri) or Get Baked (Smoked aubergine, rich tomato, mozzarella and parmesan skillet), with classic Dirty Bones sides to share. And to finish… The Dirty Bones deconstructed ‘Crunchy’ with white chocolate gelato! The Early Bird dinner starts at 5.30pm (£35.00pp, 2 hour sitting) and the Late Nighter dinner and DJ party starts at 8.30pm (£45.00pp, DJ party until 2am, also includes glass of Prosecco at midnight). Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the newly re-opened Sartoria, Mayfair
This year Chef Patron Francesco Mazzei will be serving a decadent set menu boasting some of his signature dishes for parties of up to eight guests. Those who would like an earlier sitting will be able to indulge in a lovely three course menu priced at £55 per person; and those who would prefer a longer, more sumptuous affair, will be able to choose from a four-course menu priced at £95 or a five-course menu priced at £110. Dishes include Steamed langoustines, slow cooked pork belly, pan fried scallops, n’cantarata sauce; Truffled tagliolini; Wild turbot, artichokes, saffron and clam sauce and a Roasted veal fillet, winter vegetables, sage and pumpkin mash.  Sartoria re-opened this December after an extensive refurbishment with chef Francesco Mazzei taking the helm of an all-day dining menu, serving dishes from his native region, Calabria, and surrounding areas of Italy.  For more information, or to book a table, please email sartoriareservations@danddlondon.com or call 020 7534 7000. 

New Year’s Eve party at Blanchette, Soho
Enjoy an extended New Year’s Eve at Soho favourite, Blanchette with doors open until 6am. The quintessentially Parisian bistro will be serving the usual a la carte menu as well as some delicious specials, including scallops. The kitchen will close at 11pm, while the bar will stay open until 6am. There will also be an appearance on the decks from co-founder, DJ Malik Alary as well as guest, DJ Shade. New Year’s Eve Masked Ball at Bluebird
Following last year’s success, Chelsea favourite Bluebird will be hosting its second annual Masked Ball. The night will kick off at 7pm with champagne and canape reception in the main bar, followed by a decadent 3-course meal and a delicious cheese station. Guests will then dance until dawn to the fabulous sounds of the Jazz Dynamos and DJ Feliz against the stunning backdrop of the restaurant at Bluebird. New Year’s Eve fireworks at City Social bar
Located in Tower 42, City Social bar is the perfect place to watch London’s famous firework display on New Year’s Eve. If you fancy toasting in 2016 with something a little different, new Bar Manager Tim Laferla has just launched an innovative cocktail menu. Taking you into the New Year in Peruvian Style
Lima Floral, located in Covent Garden, will be hosting a special ticketed event to celebrate New Year’s Eve, with menu options including the popular Orkney scallops and Braised venison shoulder.  In addition, the Bajo Bar by LIMA Floral, located underneath the restaurant, is open for walk-ins and will be serving its new Pisco cocktail menu. www.limalondongroup.com/floral

Islington’s Almeida celebrates in style
Islington’s neighbourhood restaurant Almeida will be offering a luxurious four course tasting menu priced at £45. The menu will showcase dishes such as Scallop and crab tortellini, Shellfish bisque and Venison wellington, beetroot, creamed cabbage, green peppercorns and picked pear. Dinner and dancing at New Street Grill for New Year
Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the city with New Street Grill’s four course set menu including canapés and bubbles on arrival. The indulgent menu from Head Chef Barry Macmillan includes dishes such as the Chateaubriand to share with sautéed pink fur potatoes, creamed spinach, béarnaise & peppercorn sauce. New Year’s Eve at Big Easy
The newly opened Big Easy in Canary Wharf is now taking bookings for New Year’s Eve. Open until 2am, the restaurant will have live music throughout the evening to ensure there’s never a lull in the party. Big Easy will be serving its full menu of famous dishes, as well as the daily special of steak and half a lobster, slushie cocktail or a schooner of Big Easy Brew – all for just £23.50.
