Let’s face it, not all of us want to be single. The summer can be a great time to get out and meet people. Latest figures suggest that 51% if London’s population are single, so with Cupid’s bow in mind we’ve put together what we consider to be the top five events happening in the capital this summer so you can get out and mingle.

The inner circle summer polo cup

The Inner Circle, will host its second annual Summer Polo Cup. Successful and like minded singles will gather on the grounds of the prestigious club, to witness Alumni polo teams compete, whilst enjoying brunch and champagne. This year’s winners will not only win the Summer Polo Cup, but will also be crowned the City Champions. Once the victors have lifted the trophy, the party will kick-off with DJ Per Pedersen on the decks, Chris Sharp on the Sax, combined with a live violin to give a summer festival vibe.

The Inner Circle is aimed at successful, ambitious and like-minded singletons in the capital. The website and app’s user base is a high-end community comprised of high-flying and career-minded individuals with over 30,000 members in London and 90,000 across Europe.

The strict invitation only policy and screening process ensures that eligible singles with similar lifestyles, backgrounds and interests can meet each other in an honest and authentic environment. The Inner Circle team carefully handpick members to create a vibrant and balanced community of educated young professionals who enjoy similar things in life.  The popularity and selective nature of the site, means that there are currently 120,000 on the waiting list.

The Lovestruck free for all

3 August 5pm - until late,  Patch Bar, St Paul's

It may sound like one, but it isn't an orgy. All you need to know is that over 400 Lovestruckers and their single friends will be there.  There is no entry fee, no RSVP, no nametags, no games and no rules.

Simply ask for a red straw (entirely optional), drink and let some gorgeous Lovestrucker spot your straw and chat you up. (Or chat up someone with a straw, if you're feeling proactive.)

Hidden on a backstreet near St Paul's Cathedral, Patch Bar is a stylish cocktail bar, spread over two floors with loads of drink offers on the night.

Tell all your single friends/colleagues and bring them with you. They don't have to be a Lovestrucker. They don't even have to be single. Hell, they don't even have to be your friend. That's the beauty of this night, baby. It's all about fun.
