Hop on the hipster gourmet train and order some sea salt with your hot chocolate at Rococo in Belgravia. You can lap up choco-lattes (£3.50) or smaller espresso-style shots (£2.80), and enjoy a free truffle with them, too.
Melange
This Peckham treasure does a truly unusual cup of hot white chocolate with cardamom and nutmeg, or go for the thick dark chocolate at £3. Recipes are courtesy of owner and artisan chocolatier Isabelle.
Konditor and Cook
Looking for a chocolate fix outside of overpriced eggs? Try the unabashedly sinful hot chocolate at this City spot, where two types of Belgian chocolate are mixed with vanilla pods and full-fat milk for £2.60. Slurp.
