Burns baby burns

Celebrate Burns Night in London with a wee dram and traditional Scottish fare.

Held since the 1800s on January 25, it’s a celebration of the life and work of poet Robert Burns.

Geronimo Inns – which have branches across the capital – will be offering traditional treats such as haggis, hot toddies, whisky tastings as well as entertainment, including bagpipes.

Check out the website for full details.

Drink up, feel good

In a nod to all-things ‘new year, new you’, Shaka Zulu has launched a Feel Good bar menu with Baobab.

Drinks on offer will include a natural supplement taken from the African ‘tree of life’, said to boost the immune system and energy levels.

Sip on a Bao-Bab with Courvoisier, chambord, port and tea.

Or, if try the booze-free Bao-Bab with apple and pineapple juices, cardomon, warm pear puree and Baobab.

The cocktails at the South African-themed restaurant in Camden are priced from £7.50
