Salted chocolate caramel tart

Shoreditch mainstay Pizza East might be better known for its pizzas (hello veal meatballs with prosciutto and cream), but this cheeky dessert is the richest indulgence you could hope to find for a mere £6.

Goat’s milk rice pudding

Served with goat’s cheese ice cream, this decadent pud (£10) is whipped up at the tiny six-seater dessert bar in posh food and drink complex Pollen Street Social, near Hanover Square.

Peanut butter cup sundae

Though folks queue for the burgers at Meat Liquor in central London, this peanut butter ice cream, peanut brittle and Reese’s peanut butter cup combo (£5) is worth lining up for too.
