Cool Cousin has launched in London and is set to provide a solution to the frustration, often experienced when searching for where to go, eat and stay in London. Relieving the stress and mistrust of online reviews, the free service allows users to find like-minded locals and take advantage of their insider knowledge and interact with them for personalised travel advice.

Forget tourist attractions and busy restaurants with inflated prices, the app features hundreds of carefully curated area guides containing information about hidden gems to match the interests of the user, as well as the newest and most exclusive places to see and be seen in.

And what’s more the authors of the guides are on hand to respond to direct messages, offering real time advice about anything from pricing and the ideal time to visit to dress codes and the best tables.

Launching in London with plans to roll out across the globe, the capital’s Cousins include some of the coolest, most interesting movers and shakers in the City. From Experimental Cocktail Club founder Xavier Padovani, well-versed in the best of London nightlife to Secretsundaze Studio founder James Priestly, an expert on the music scene.

The free app is simple to use; simply search for Cousins with similar interests, browse their photos, access their personal recommendations on a map or have them as a list. The app also allows access when offline meaning users are provided with their recommendations at all times, even on the go.

The free iOS app, is available to download now from the App Store.
