Recently tipped by Jamie Jones as one of his favourite new producers, Leeds-born Jey Kurmis has been turning heads with a prolific run of dance floor hits. Having found a home on Hot Creations with tracks like Monkle, and a place in Jones' heart for also supplying him with a stream of unreleased demos, this year he's been firing out pumping tech-house bombs for the likes of Leftroom, Criminal Hype, Moon Harbour and Straight Ahead Music. Hotter than the current summer heatwave, you can be sure that he'll be around longer.

Another young talent rising through the ranks, Latmun is a long-standing resident DJ at Stealth. This knowledge of what makes a straight up floor filler has filtered through into his productions. His most recent EP for Leftwing and Kody's Lost combined hip-hop swagger with rave energy flashbacks, such as on the frenetic Cosmic, while his Dance & Bop EP for WOW Recordings was Top Ten hit in the Beatport tech-house chart. Throw in further releases for the likes of ViVA and Relief Records, plus a firm foothold in Ibiza, and his star quality is unlikely to be eclipsed.

GW Harrison held his first residency at the tender age of 13, encouraged by a dad who was part of the original rave scene. A resident at Sheffield's iconic Gatecrasher while at university, these days you can find him behind the decks of Abode, one of London's freshest parties, navigating his way around shade of house.

Egg Ldn, 200 York Way, Kings Cross, N7 9AX, Friday 19 August, 11pm-7am.
