London Mayor Sadiq Khan fulfills his pledge to have 5 lines running a 24-hour weekend service by the end of the year
On December 16th the Piccadilly line will start running a weekend nighttime service with trains running approx every 10 mins between Cockfosters & Heathrow T5.
The line joins the Victoria line, Central line, Jubilee line and the Northern line (set to begin November 18th) in offering commuters a much needed 24-hour service at the weekends. With over 1 million journeys having been made already since the inception back in August, the addition of the Piccadilly line will make access to bars & clubs in Hammersmith, Kensington and the West End much easier at night - just in time for Christmas!
Victoria line - every 10 mins across the entire line
Central line - every 10 mins between White City & Leytonstone, every 20 mins between Ealing Broadway & White City and Leytonstone to Loughton/Hainault
No service between N Acton & W Ruislip, Loughton & Epping and Woodford & Hainault
Jubilee line - every 10 mins across the entire line
Northern line (from 18th November) - every 8 mins between Morden & Camden Town, every 15 mins from Camden Town & High Barnet/Edgware
