Where the pancakes are will take up residency at Habitat on the King’s Road for a Pancake Day weekend pop up from 6-9 February 2016.
Flippin’ good news for pancake fans – Where the pancakes are will be popping up with their very first in-store restaurant at Habitat on King’s Road, London this February to celebrate Pancake Day.
Open on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February as well as a late opening on Shrove Tuesday (9 February), the restaurant will serve a selection of sweet and savoury stacks of pancakes whose toppings have been inspired by Californian, British and European favourites. New on the menu for this year is the oven baked 'Dutch Baby' pancake (Golden delicious apples and cinnamon) the Seattle born love child of the American breakfast table and Northern European immigrants.
Other sweet stacks include Banana, chocolate and toasted almonds and Caramelised pineapple, cream, lime, mint and an optional sprinkling of coconut while savoury stacks include Smoked salmon and asparagus with a poached egg, hollandaise and red amaranth and Smoked ham, hollandaise, poached egg topped with tendril pea shoots.
Pancakes are priced from £5 to £9.50 each and no reservations are needed – just pop along.
