I really like the first one at food: McDonald's meal... hehe. Sure! We're all eating in McDonalds! No Question about it! Gee... Thank You TNT for a priceless advice!

Time TNT updated this article! We'd all be well happy if these prices of 'cost of living' were accurate but they're WAY off the mark...it's way more expensive.

Adam
The travel card prices are out of date... its now £30.40 for a Zones 1-3 weekly

Yup...London's expensive but if you don't mind sacrificing some things it can be cheaper. I can survive on £20 groceries per week and eat quite comfortably.
Hi! I am a 25 year old female who is the mother of 3 young children with the hopes of moving to London within the next 3-5 years. I know that there are and will be many expenses that are required just as living in any other Country and State. What I need is a quote on how much living in London may cost for 6+ months. Everything from housing, miscellaneous, Travel, etc. I am currently preparing and planning for this move, not knowing if I honestly want only to experience life in London or make it my home. If you have any answers for me please feel free to contact me via TnT or email me at sfulton_23@yahoo.com

you quoted Zone 1-2 travelcards in $ not £.

Pub lunch £6-£10? Not anymore - loads of pubs now have main dishes which are around the £12 mark. For a Sunday Roast, I'd expect to pay £10-14 without any alcohol.
Cn I just clarify that a weeks groceries depends on how many you are buying for...currently my boyfriend and I are spending about 50 - 60 quid a week on food - and that's not including random nights out or a bought lunch during work...
