A woman in south Adelaide witnessed the tail of a snake disappearing into her Ugg boot.

The traumatised woman called Snake Catchers Adelaide to remove the one metre long eastern brown snake.

The species is considered to be the world’s second most venomous snake. The Inland taipan gets the number one spot.

Snake catcher Ange Broadstock told the Adelaide Advertiser: “We got a call from a woman saying she had seen the tail of a snake going into an ugg boot.

“When we got there it was all snuggled up in the boot so we just popped the whole thing in the bag.”

The snake will reside with the snake catcher until the summer, when it will be released back into the wild.
