Learn Fire Poi

Learn the incredible art of dancing with flaming ropes in a six-week poi course. Perfect Circle Poi runs both beginner and advanced poi spinning courses, plus fire dancing performance and choreography courses.

When you get really good you’ll be able to mesmerise your mates with your newfound skills – safely, of course.

Barking Park Fireworks

You’ll not just witness amazing fireworks at this day and evening event, there will also be performances on stage, a funfair and food stalls in the park to keep all ages occupied.

Just be careful not to eat a hot dog before you have a go on the bumper cars or the waltzer – believe us, it doesn’t end well.

The Fire School

Breathe fire with this bunch of London daredevils. They’re running group courses on manipulating flames and other circus-style escapades, such as breathing fire, advanced fire tricks and fire poi.

Classes also include how to use fire fans and other props. It’s extremely risky, but completely exhilarating. Fire safety is also taught.

Battersea Park Fireworks

Whoop and cheer as dozens of huge fireworks light up above the Thames.

Behind the show is Pains Fireworks, who have given pyrotechnic flair to Disney Symphony Orchestra concerts and Rod Stewart tours.

Word of warning: book in advance and don’t be late, there’s a strict no-entry after 8pm policy.
