A giant statue of Mansfield swimmer Rebecca Adlington has been unveiled in London ahead of the Rio Olympics.

The 12-foot high, 40-foot long statue shows the Olympian submerged in the front crawl position in the Serpentine at Hyde Park.

The sculpture has been designed to inspire Team GB ahead of the Games in Rio and encourage the public to show their support for the British athletes competing.
