TV shows that have been made in London and which tell people sick with potentially life threatening illnesses that they have been cured through prayer have been criticised by charities.
The show Miracle Hour on Faith World TV has been singled out in particular, with presenter Bishop Simon Iheanacho singled out for his numerous claims to callers that he had cured or removed illnesses from their body, such as cancer.
“We are now reviewing our new programmes to make sure our standards meet good practice,” said UKWET, the company that make the show after the public criticism.
