Shamed Sky Sports presenters Richard Keys and Andy Gray, who lost their jobs after a high-profile sexism row, will host daily radio show on station TalkSport.

Shamed Sky Sports presenters Richard Keys and Andy Gray, who lost their jobs after a high-profile sexism row, will host daily radio show on station TalkSport.

Amid a furore over comments recorded when the pair were off-air, Andy Gray was sacked last month while Richard Keys resigned in solidarity with his colleague and after receiving a slating in the press.

However, any publicity is good as the saying goes and TalkSport reckons it’s struck gold signing the controversial pair.

The pair will present a three-hour weekday show between 10am and 1pm, beginning next Monday.

TalkSport programme director, Moz Dee, called the signing a "sensational coup" for the station.

"The events of the last couple of weeks have been a lesson and have changed them," Dee said.

"One thing that hasn't changed however is that they are two iconic broadcasters who have a wealth of experience in the world of sport.

Keys and Gray had long and lucrative careers as Sky Sports' Premier League pundits until they were caught out making ill-advised comments about female referee Sian Massey, suggesting that that female officials "don't know the offside rule".

Another clip emerged in which Gray asked a female co-presenter to stick a microphone down his trousers while a further Youtube delight revealed Keys asking Jamie Redknapp if he’d “smashed it” with an ex girlfriend.

Reacting to the pair’s new employment with TalkSport, Keys said it was the "start of something new and very exciting for Andy and myself".

He added: "We are delighted to be joining the TalkSport family and can't wait to get started."
