A new trailer for the forthcoming Romeo and Juliet movie has hit, showing the new film will be a much more traditional take on the Shakespeare’ classic than Baz Luhrmann’s famous Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes version.
Scripted by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey), it promises to tell “the most dangerous love story ever told”.
It stars Hailee Steinfeld, who made her name in the Coen Brothers' True Grit, as Juliet with British newcomer Douglas Booth as her Romeo. Support comes from the likes of Paul Giamatti, Stellan Skarsgard and Damian Lewis.
The movie is due for release later this year.
