For many people, Psy’s Gangnam Style was the worst thing of all time. They were wrong, as the South Korean pop star turned global household name’s new single Gentleman shows.

His long-awaited follow up to his world-famous Gangnam Style is basically the same song, with slightly different words, and with none of the novelty value that made his earlier single diverting for all of about two minutes.

There’s not yet a video released for it, but you can check out the song itself for now and judge for yourself whether the music is , err, strong enough to make an impact on its own.

And remember, this was a man who had such global cultural cache for a while that he was invited to speak at Oxford University’s debating society and posed for photos with leaders of the United Nations.

The photo above was taken earlier this year as he performed his hit at the inauguration of South Korea’s new president Park Geun-Hye.

Proper weird!
