Red Bull racer Mark Webber completed a trouble-free Formula One test then pinpointed Ferrari as the likely pacesetters this season.

Webber posted the second quickest time on the final day at testing in Barcelona.

While running fewer laps than most of his rivals and concentrating on testing new parts for the RB7, Webber trailed only the Ferrari of Felipe Massa.

The Brazilian was clocked at 1 minute, 22.625 seconds at the Catalunya track.

Webber was 0.817 seconds behind Massa while Sebastien Buemi of Toro Rosso was third fastest in 1:23.550.

Michael Schumacher's Mercedes was 10th, more than four seconds off the pace.

Webber said the team now had a pile of data to evaluate before the next test, again at Catalunya, next month.

"We had a few niggles here and there but we did well and that's been the case over the whole weekend," Webber said.

"We had a very productive test, no question about it. We have a whole raft of data to go through."

Red Bull head of race engineering Ian Morgan said last Sunday's rain was the only issue, preventing Webber from running through his full program.

"We got through quite a lot of work in evaluating some development components on the suspension, brakes and aero package, Morgan said.

"We set out a pretty ambitious schedule for this test and I'm pleased to say that we managed to get through almost all of it.

"Obviously, the weather hampered us a little but even then we got some wet weather running in, which helps us understand the tyres a bit better."

Webber is convinced Ferrari will be a major threat this year - but the Italian outfit's lead driver Fernando Alonso says Red Bull will be the team to beat.

Ferrari ran more laps than any other team during the pre-season test.

"Ferrari finished the year very strong and they've come out of the gates very strong," Webber said.

"The car is running, it's always out there, they aren't hanging around when they are out there, they're pretty quick and the team are always organised."
