Rafael Nadal has confirmed that he will be returning to Queens Club in June for the first time since 2008.

That year, Nadal completed a famous double with a epic final win versus Roger Federer at Wimbledon the following month. Nadal, using this year’s West London tournament as a springboard for his grass season, will follow that of Andy Murray, who following hip surgery in January following a brief comeback in Dubai, will hope to be fit for the summer.

“I am very excited to communicate that I am going to come Queen’s in 2018. It is going to be the 10th anniversary of my victory in 2008, it’s a great memory, winning there and three weeks later winning Wimbledon. It was an unforgettable year. I am very excited to be coming back and playing Queen’s again,” Nadal told the official website.

Tickets for the tournament go on sale on March 6. For more information go to
