A longboarder encountered a deer at the Colorado speed skating event last weekend.
Ryan Vitale, from Salt Lake City, was the unlucky longboarder that came face-to-face with a wild deer as he was cruising down the steep road at an estimated 65km/h.
The event has become affectionately known as the ‘Bloodspill’ due to the frequent crashes that happen during the race.
Vitale had no chance, as the boarder swerves the deer just keeps on running into his path. Amazingly Vitale escaped unscathed from the accident. The deer’s condition is still not known.
While Ryan Vitale had no chance of winning after the fall, he’s certainty become a YouTube sensation.
