The Rugby Championship began in sensational fashion for the All Blacks, as Australia were blown away in the first match.

Sydney hosted a rampant New Zealand performance who, at one point, were 54-6 up on their rivals as Rieko Ioane, Ryan Crotty and Sonny Bill Williams all featured in going over.

Australia managed to save face in the second half and reign in the scoreline to make it more respectable with Kurtley Beale and Curtis Rona going over to lose by 54-34.

The second match of the championship was completely different to the first in Dunedin.

If New Zealand thought they’d roll over Australia again, they were in for a big surprise, with Australia unrecognisable to the side from the previous weekend.

A great start gave them a 17-0 lead with Foley, Folau and Hooper all going through the All Blacks back line.

New Zealand turned it around and going into the second half had reduced the deficit to just 3 points at 17-14.

Each side took turns to get in front of each other, before Australia with Kurtley Beale going over thought they had revenge. Only for Beauden Barrett to go over and clinch the Bledisloe Cup 35-29.
