ATP have announced that they have signed a new deal to keep the end of season ‘Race to London’ tennis tournament which takes place at the o2 venue upto and including 2020.

The tournament which features the top 8 players over the course of the last 11 months, had an amazing finale last season, as Andy Murray beat Novak Djokovic in the final to claim the title and, take the number one spot from his Serbian rival.

The new contract, will also have a new sponsor in place. Originally sponsored by Barclays, the tournament will now be renamed the Nitto ATP Finals, with Nitto Denko Corporation, a leading innovation company taking over from the finance group.

Chris Kermode, ATP chairman told ATP website “We’re delighted to extend our stay in London and to have Nitto come on board as title sponsor over the next four years.”

With a world class line-up about to go to London for Queens Club in June, before heading to Wimbledon, the ATP finals will be the only other time to see top class tennis from all the best in the world. The top 8 in the one-year ranking list converge on London this year from 12-19 November.
