The Queen popped in to Kensington Palace earlier today to meet her great grand child for the first time.

The Queen reportedly spent half an hour with the proud new parents at Kensington Palace after the Duke and Duchess’s son was born on Monday afternoon.

The Queen is due to go on holiday this Friday and wanted to see the new born, who is in line to be a future king of England, before she left.

Will and Kate thought are yet to decide on a name. Or at least a name for Baby Cambridge, as he is officially known, is yet to be made public.

Currently bookies fave for the Prince’s name is James, with George and Henry also popular guesses.

Bookmakers Coral have said that the name of the new royal baby is the biggest non-sporting event.
