A New York banker’s scarily detailed spreadsheet to help him remember his dating prospects has gone viral.

The spreadsheet tracks women he met on Match.com, their pictures, what they were like whether they had been on dates, and when to contact them again.

There is also a column where he rates their “online appearance” out of ten.

On April 4, he went on a date with Arielle, who he described as “very pretty”, “sweet and down to earth” and with “a great personality”.

But he let it slip to Arielle that he kept the Excel spreadsheet, and she somehow persuaded him to send it to her.

Two days later, she forwarded the spreadsheet to her friends.

The banker, who has stayed anonymous, later revealed to Jezebel: “I work with spreadsheets a lot. It's a great additional tool.

“I work long days, go to the gym, go out on a couple of midweek dates or what not, get home late...how am I going to remember them? I'm not.

“So I made the spreadsheets. My comments aren't malicious or mean. This was an honest attempt to stay organized."
