The flight from Gatwick did not land at Dalaman until all of the rowdy passengers were safely in their seats, with one flier describing the scene as 'Jeremy Kyle at 37,000ft'.

The three drunken passengers responsible for the ruckus were not arrested when the plane touched down, even though police were called to intercept the plane's passengers at the airport.

BBC home duty editor Neil Henderson was on board the flight, and tweeted 'Think I need therapy, never mind a holiday. It was like Jeremy Kyle at 37,000 feet,' after landing.

Speaking to the Mirror, a spokesman for easyJet said: "easyJet can confirm that flight EZY8843 from London Gatwick to Dalaman, Turkey, was met by police on landing following three passengers behaving disruptively during the flight."
