Italy’s supreme court has decided that public masturbation is not a crime unless it's done in front of under 18s.

The unexpected law comes from a decriminalisation measure in 2015 that  rules it's no longer illegal to be seen masturbating in places popular with women, but if witnessed by a minor, the offender can face nearly three to five years in prison.

Mama would be proud!

Great news if you're planning to travel to Italy and have a thing about knocking one out in public.

Other EU countries don't have the same attitude.
