The Telegraph's front page today has caused something of a stir, featuring The Queen, Kate Middleton and the Duchess of Cornwall, above the headline 'Witchcraft threat to children'.

The unfortunate juxtaposition has set off something a Twitter frenzy: "So tomorrow's front page of Telegraph is indeed a work of pro-Republican satirical genius," tweeted Paul Hamilos, the Guardian's assistant foreign editor.

The picture of the royal tripartite is, despite appearances, in relation to their trip to Fortnum and Mason's yesterday.

While the witchcraft headline refers to the murder of Kristy Bamu by his sister and her boyfriend after they believed he had become possessed.
