A video of a Victoria line tube announcer's cool, friendly and laid back Caribbean attitude has proved popular with London commuters, as this video shows.
"This train is for all de Brixton crew. Service update, everyting irie, everyting cris. Chill out, kick back, no need let anybody cramp your style. Rastaman driver, take these beautiful people to their destination." says the Underground guard.
He then goes on to make reference to 90's hip hop legend MC Hammer as passengers exit the station smiling.
The video was shared on Facebook by William Baker, who commented "Victoria is officially London's coolest station!"
Update 22/02/13:
Vice magazine interviewed the happy-go-lucky London Underground employee, Carl Downer, who told them: "You have to enjoy life. You live life, you enjoy life to the maximum. You have one life to live and you've got to live and live it up – you can't let nothing become an obstacle in your way. No one can be happy for you, so you have a right to be happy. It's a God-given right. Yes, Rasta."
