Waxworks from Australia's Madame Tussaud's gathered yesterday in the hot sun at Sydney Harbour to celebrate a year since Madame Tussaud's opened Down Under.

The stunningly realistic fake Kidman was dressed in red with her auburn locks flowing in the wind, with the dramatic backdrop of Sydney Opera House and the harbour bridge.

However, the real life Kidman was in England at the time busy filming her latest movie, amnesia drama Before I Go To Sleep, with Brighton Rock director Rowan Joffe.

Also represented at the waxy gathering were a host of replica Aussie stars, including Keith Urban, Dannii Minogue, Miranda Kerr, Eric Bana and Lleyton Hewitt.

Let's hope Nicole was given plenty of sunblock to prevent burning or a melting catastrophe.
