West End Wednesdays, the hugely popular promotion which offers theatre lovers half price tickets to top London shows, is to return for the month of May.

Initially launched in July and run by TKTS, the Official London Theatre Ticket Booth, the promotion returns this spring with tickets starting from as little as £9.75. These brilliant bargains will only be available to buy on-the-day and in person at the TKTS ticket booth in Leicester Square.

Shows involved include the Olivier Awards with MasterCard winning shows Memphis The Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre,The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre and Sunny Afternoon at the Harold Pinter Theatre. There are tickets available for big musicals such as The Commitments at the Palace TheatreThriller Live at the Lyric Theatre and Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown The Musical at the Playhouse Theatre. Also taking part are the hit plays The 39 Steps at the Criterion Theatre, Bad Jews at the Arts Theatre, Bomber’s Moon at Trafalgar Studio 2, Golem at Trafalgar Studio 1, Hay Fever at the Duke of York's Theatre and The Woman In Black at the Fortune Theatre. As well as theatrical concerts Be-Bop-A-Lula at the Ambassadors Theatre, Let It Be at the Garrick Theatre and the dance spectacular Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games at the Dominion Theatre.

West End Wednesdays begins on 6 May and will run for four consecutive weeks. Half price tickets for the shows involved will go on sale at 10am each Wednesday at the TKTS booth in Leicester Square. Full details are available at the TKTS website,www.TKTS.co.uk.
