At least 13 people have died in a boat accident on Thailand's Chao Phraya river.

The boat went down on Sunday with 100 passengers on board, after it crashed into a bridge and sank.

So far 13 people have been reported dead, 33 injured and four unaccounted for.

The Chao Phraya is the main river running through Bangkok.

Accidents are common on Thailand's public transport as safety guidelines are not always enforced.
