This morning EgyptAir flight 804 from Paris to Cairo disappeared with 66 people on board. This is what we currently know:

When the airbus crossed through Greek airspace controllers attempted to make contact with it. They received no response.

On entering Cairo airspace, the airbus swerved sharply then plunged from 37,000 feet into the Mediterranean sea.

A distress signal was detected in the area where the flight disappeared although it could have come from another plane.

Egypt's civil aviation minister says that the cause behind the disappearance is more likely terrorism than technical failure.

The Foreign Office is advising against all but essential travel by air in and out of Sharm el-Sheikh and there are currently no flights from the UK to the region.

Are you in Egypt now?

What effect do you think the flight disappearance will have on Egyptian tourism?

Would you still go?
