LAST MAN STANDS ARE HOSTING A TWENTY20 WORLD CUP DAY ON 25 JULY.

Last Man Stands is an eight-a-side Twenty20 game played over 2 hours and 15 minutes.

There are over 400 teams playing Last Man Stands cricket and over 10 000 players registered in five countries
(South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, UAE and England). 

In London, where the concept started in 2005, there are now 220 registered teams playing in the local leagues. There are now  leagues in the UK, South Africa, Dubai, New Zealand and Australia.

At the end of each season the winners from the various franchises and cities qualify for their national champions league. In 2009 the national champions of England will be rewarded with £2000 in prize money.

LMS is awesome fun, we just had to turn up and play, everything is organised for you. My global stats dont match really match up to my mates in NZ though but we have a full season approaching.

I played last year and had a great time. I struggled with my batting and bowling but was useful in the pub afterwards
