12th Oct 2015 2:33am | By Editor

Try a hotdog in the street or dinner in a famous restaurant.

Food

When it comes to café’s, bars, 24-hour restaurants or a quick nightcap, you can find anything and everything in New York City. Many places have gained acclaim not just for their food and drink but their décor, atmosphere and service. The Grand Central Oyster Bar is one of these, for fine seafood and atmosphere.

For some tapas and Spanish speciality cooking Solera restaurant in its townhouse setting is ideal. Not a bargain but the location and surroundings are amazing, just like the food.

For an alternative to the pricey Asian cuisine, head to Mee Noodle Shop and Grill. The perfect oriental, in-and-out joint, for good, fast food.

Drink

After a great cocktail, happy hour and a $5 pint of margarita? Then you want Fubar.

One of the most renowned bars in New York is PJ Clarke’s. An alehouse with a decent beer and Guinness by the pint.

Water

The water is safe to drink in New York City.
