Discover the capital with locals who are keen to share their love of London, knowledge and expertise in a witty and entertaining way.

Fact: London is the greatest city in the world. Another fact: staying on top of London’s incredible history and heritage AND its latest and greatest happenings can be confusing. And let’s face it hard work...

Enter Talk of the Town London. The dynamic walking tour company, which is celebrating its first anniversary on 1 August 2015, aims to provide locals and visitors alike with the inside track on the London scene.

The Talk of the Town team consists of veteran tour guides, actors and life long Londoners so they now where the buzz is coming from - and can share their knowledge in a dynamic, sociable and original fashion with us before most people hear or read about it.

Senior tour guide John Bosco comments: "Our mission is clear. We don’t want anyone to waste a minute of their time in Europe’s most exciting metropolis lost in Leicester Square or chowing down in the chain gang. Not when ‘real’ London is ready and waiting to be discovered."

To mark Talk of the Town's first birthday, John is leading a special 'High Society' tour on Sunday 2 August at 2pm and Sunday 9 August at 4pm.

Join John on a jaunt through elegant Mayfair and see London through the eyes of the elite. Discover the stomping ground of 18th century bachelors, peek into the windows of exclusive private gentlemen’s clubs and accompany blushing débutantes to their first high society ball. The tour also reveals the intrigues and behind-the-scene politics that dominated this distinctive social class and includes an optional afternoon tea at one of London’s most charming venues.
