Hands up if you want to head Down Under? That’s all of us then, but when is the best time to book, so as to score a great deal on a trip to the land of Oz?
Happily those nice guys at HotelClub.com have revealed the best month to travel and the optimal time to book your stay across nine top destinations around Australia, based on its hotel booking data.
“Hotel prices can vary significantly throughout the year. Destination and hotel types are major factors that impact hotel rates, however so is seasonality and the booking date. To help savvy travellers get the most out of their trip, we’ve analysed our data to determine which travel and booking dates command the biggest savings and which months should be avoided. Simply by planning and booking their trip at the optimal time, travellers can save up to 45% off the average cost of a hotel in Australia, which they can put to an upgrade or in destination activities,” explains Joana Barros, senior director of Brand and Consumer Marketing for HotelClub.com.
