LONDON (5 December 2014) --- There are new rules relating to the entry of foreign passport-holders to Turkey as from 1 January 2015.

From that date, passports should have at least 60 days validity from the date of expiry of a traveller's visa, visa exemption period or residency permit to be able to enter the country.

The Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism says, “Travellers without the required period of validity on passports will regrettably not be allowed entry into Turkey due to this new legal regulation as of 1 January 2015.)
