You could always visit one of the UK’s national parks, such as Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. Cairngorm boasts one of the most impressive glacial landscapes outside of Canada, with granite tors and deposits from the Ice Ages. Alternatively, check out the North York Moors to enjoy contrasting heather moorlands, woodlands, and coastal cliffs. Just don't ruin all your good work with a fish and chip dinner.

Enjoy some cake and tea in one of the cafes, or indulge in a seafood treat along the harbour. It sounds so wholesome; you may as well change your surname to 'Walton' after this break.
