Since releasing Oracular Spectacular in 2007, Brooklyn duo MGMT have projected their decidedly kaleidoscopic vision onto the pop landscape. They’ve also blazed a trail for others psych-pop acts like Empire Of The Sun to follow in their wake. The good news is that their new LP Congratulations is due out in April. Will it contain such psychedelic gems as Kids and Time To Pretend? “It’s us trying to deal with all the craziness that’s been going on since our last album took off,” the duo commented recently. Let’s hope that’s a yes.
